Basic Pan-Fried Tilapia

Ingredients
  • 2 tilapia filets, fresh or thawed
  • 2 Tbsp pastured butter
  • dash unrefined sea salt
  • dash pepper
  • ½ fresh lemon
Instructions
  1. Rinse filets in cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat.
  3. Place fish filets in pan.
  4. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes or until underside is browned.
  5. Flip tilapia and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook uncovered for another 5 minutes or until underside is browned.
