How to freeze homemade waffles
Author: Two Thirds Cup
Ingredients
  • Cooked waffles
  • Baking sheet
  • Freezer bag or container
Instructions
  1. After cooking the waffles, allow them to cool down.
  2. Find a baking sheet that fits in your freezer.
  3. Place the waffles on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Put the baking sheet in the freezer until the waffles are frozen (about 1 hour).
  5. Place the frozen waffles in a freezer bag or container and place back in the freezer.
  6. Wipe any condensation off the baking sheet.
  7. Repeat with more waffles.
Notes
Some put parchment paper on top of the baking pan. I don’t use parchment paper and my waffles freeze just fine.

Using a freezer bag allows you to write the date on them. Waffles are good for about 3 months in the freezer. Mine are always gone too quickly to worry about labeling them though!
