Author: Two Thirds Cup
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1 Tbsp pastured butter or bacon grease
  • Dash unrefined sea salt
  • Dash pepper
  1. Wash the asparagus.
  2. Hold each spear between your two hands and bend until it breaks in its natural spot--between tough bottom and tender top.
  3. Melt the butter in a saute pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the asparagus and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about five minutes or until just tender.
