Sprouted Wheat Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients
  • 1¾ cup sprouted wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¾ tsp unrefined sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ⅛ tsp ground allspice
  • ½ cup bittersweet chocolate chips (70% cacao)
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease two 9×5 loaf pans with butter or coconut oil.
  3. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, sea salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, allspice, and chocolate chips. Stir until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, coconut oil, honey, and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Pour mixture into loaf pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Let bread cool for 10 minutes in the pans and then remove onto a wire rack to fully cool.
