Do you like fish? I love fish. But only non-fishy fish. If it’s fishy tasting, it’s not good fish, right?! I grew up eating fresh fish that we’d catch out of Lake Temiskaming-a lake I lived on in the summer. Now that was good fish! So, I’m kind of picky about fish. A fish snob you might say. And I love tilapia. Especially pan-fried with butter and lemon. Cooking it in butter browns it nicely and the lemon adds some zing. It’s hard to mess this dish up. Simple and delicious.

*It’s a good idea to buy your tilapia somewhere like Whole Foods Market or another conscientious retailer. Some tilapia farmers use unsanitary and unhealthy practices to produce their fish, which results in a very low-quality product. Read about tilapia and Whole Foods Quality Standards for Aquaculture.
