I started this blog mostly for myself. I had recipes and food information stored in excel files and bookmarked online, but the system wasn’t working great for me. I wanted a more organized reference system and a blog seemed like a great way to do it. Creating a blog is also fun for me and it helps get me excited about the usually monotonous task of cooking for a family day after day.
I also want my kids to learn about healthy eating habits and cooking. Hopefully they’ll be cooking for me at least a couple nights a week when they get a little older! This is why I’ve included very basic recipes on the blog, such as garden salad and sauteed asparagus-so that beginners will have a step-by-step guide for anything they want to make. Including even the most basic recipes also makes meal planning for the week a breeze.
Although I like eating healthy non-processed food, I don’t like spending a lot of time in the kitchen. So most of the recipes you’ll find on Two Thirds Cup don’t take a lot of time. I hope you find recipes you love and learn some new information about real food.
